Robert C. Bradley
Bro. Robert Bradley, (or Bro. Bob as he prefers to be called,) accepted the call the become the pastor at First Baptist Church in Hatfield and began his ministry here in February 2021. He and his wife Jessica have been married since 2009 and reside in Hatfield with their four children: Abigail, Eleanor, William, and Matthew.
Bro. Bob was saved by the Lord’s grace at the age of eight, having responded to the conviction of the Holy Spirit during an invitation at First Free Will Baptist Church in Greeneville, TN. His wife Jessica was saved by the Lord in her home at the age of 11. They pray daily for their children to come to know the Lord as Savior in His time as He makes himself known to them.
Prior to receiving the call to preach, Bro. Bob served as a music minister, serving congregations in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida. Originally from northeast Tennessee, Bro. Bob earned degrees in music from East Tennessee State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. In 2014 he surrendered to the call to preach the Gospel and left vocational ministry for a season in order to grow in his new calling. During this time, he and his family lived in Nashville, Tennessee and were members of Grace Old Time Missionary Baptist Church in Gallatin. This church observed the call of God on his life and licensed him to preach. In 2018 they convened an ordaining council representing a number of local churches of like faith and order and ordained him to the Gospel Ministry.
Bro. Bob strives to be an expository preacher, believing that the inerrant and infallible Word of God, rightly divided, is sufficient for the salvation of souls and for the building up of the saints. As pastor, his desire is to see lives continually transformed by the power of God at work both within and through the Lord’s Church. His goal is to lead the church to be first and foremost a Biblical church, rooted and grounded in the truth, which is the Word of God that sanctifies those who have repented toward God and placed their trust in Christ alone for salvation.
